How Important is the Title Bar in SEO Design?
Before we discuss the importance of the title bar, here is the title bar of our home page.
"Search Engine Optimization, SEO Services, North Carolina" is the "title tag" in the title bar. It is called a title tag because it is between two tags. If you look at the source code this is what you will find:

So now we know what it is and how to manipulate it in a regular html file. (This is not as easy in most php/asp or other types of web files.)
Now let's discuss why this little bit of information is so important. It is important because Google and other search engines considers the title bar to actually work like a title on your high school english paper. In should tell what is in side of the web page, much like you high school paper discussed what the paper contained. If you have a good title to your web page with good keywords, that satisfy both the search engines and your visitors, then you have covered more than most content developers.
